"Wonderful staff and nurses helped me immeasurably"

About: Mill View Hospital

I was an inpatient on promenade ward for one month recently and found the staff to be some of the kindest people I've ever met. I was fragile and scared when I arrived but within a few days was settled-despite the physical pain and sickness I was experiencing-the support and patience of the nurses gave my strength to keep going when I felt my worst. I really can't thank them enough. The food was very good for hospital food and helped give the day structure especially as I wasn't eating much before I arrived. One problem was the lack out outside space for us on promenade it did become quite frustrating being so cooped in! But overall I feel I was treated with respect, compassion and empathy and and can't really fault the team that looked after me during my stay.

Response from Mill View Hospital

Thank you very much for your positive review - I have passed it to the ward manager at Promenade to share with his team and he has asked me to wish you well, as I do, for your continued recovery Kind regards Rachael Kenny Patient and Public Involvement Manager Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
