"My incident 11/1/14"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

I suffered a seizure last Saturday. (I'm not epileptic and have no diagnosis of related illnesses, other than anxiety disorder. Your staff (and I would appreciate it if this could be extended to the ambulance staff) were kind, helpful and supportive. I'm a former Metropolitan police officer and therefore very aware of how busy A&E departments are and how much pressure the staff are under. I hope I don't need to visit again any time soon, but I would like to pass on my heartfelt thanks to everyone that did their best to help me.

Thank you so much for your kind words. We take patient feedback very seriously and we know our teams are always keen to hear how patients are doing after they've left our care, so we'll be sure to pass your words along.
