Was never informed of a procedure I was due to have when the porter collected me I was assumed it was for an xray so was surprised to end up on the endoscopy suite where I was then ask if I had been given the bowel prep the day before obviously I hadn't as I didn't even know about the procedure there fore it had to be cancelled! I found a needle in my bed! Was told I needed a drip urgently and had to have a needle in...... to be told half an hour later it was ok now I don't need it ....the needle can come out and I can go home and if I carry on being sick go to a and e!
