"Ragged cut on upper arm"

On Saturday December 21st my husband and I visited A and E during the morning as my husband had stumbled during the night and sustained a horrendous jagged gash to his upper arm. We were both extremely impressed by the service and treatment we received. The wait was reasonable and the investigations and tests were thorough and completed within an acceptable length of time. The young doctor who stitched my husband's arm approached this task with the utmost precision and care, even redoing two of the stitches which he was not entirely satisfied with. The result, three weeks later is an extremely neat little scar which will presumably fade in time. We are most grateful to the whole team for their thoroughness as, what I felt would be a blot on our Christmas celebrations, not to mention the threat of infection, major scarring etc was wholly avoided by the provision of an exceptionally professional service by a competent team.
