"Impacted wisdom teeth removed, extremely nervous"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

Today I had two lower wisdom teeth removed, to which I was extremely nervous about. I opted to go without sedation as I was just as nervous about that as I was about the procedure. The staff that carried out the procedure were absolutely amazing. They reassured me constantly, took things at my pace and helped me as much as they possibly could during the whole thing. I couldn't stop thanking them after it was over. Given the situation, it couldn't have gone any better! I would like to give my thanks once again for their help today

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback following your visit to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department on 15 January. We are pleased that you were put at ease by the staff and reassured about your procedure as they do appreciate how anxious patients can be. We will ensure the sentiments of your feedback is shared with the team and hope you have continued to have an uneventful recovery at home. Thank you once again.
