About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske)

I was recently a patient on Tolgus ward. The care I received was excellent. All the ward staff, clinical & non clinical were professional, caring & cheerful. It is just a shame that the ward is apparently very understaffed, causing unnecessary stress to staff and potential complaints from not so understanding patients!

Thank you for sharing your comments and we are pleased to read that your were happy with your recent care. Our ward staffing levels are reviewed on a daily basis and are adjusted according to the number of patients and their individual needs. Over the last six months we have employed 100 additional nurses and continue to add to our nursing team.
