My 88 yr old Grandma had a hip replacement on 5/12/13. She was nervous but amazed at how well she was treated by all staff.We were all kept fully informed at all times. Ward was clean,her only gripe was the food was a bit hit & miss! To anyone worrying about the op, she was out of bed the same day,& I took her to the supermarket 9 days after! She feels fantastic & from being in a lot of pain pre op, is now pain free & fully mobile.
