"Dignity and slow response times"

About: King's Mill Hospital

Booked for an appointment at the Rheumatology clinic. I forgot to take a urine sample with me & quietly apologised to the reception desk for forgetting. The lady at the desk assisting me replied with a voice loud enough for most of the waiting patients to hear and I quote - " Do you think you would be able to do a wee now? " Hardly the most subtle thing to blurt out to a busy clinic. I don't know who looked the most embarrassed, myself or the lady next to me in the queue. Additionally, reports from my consultant took weeks of reminding by the DWP before it was finally sent.
