"Contacting Admissions by phone"

About: Barnet Hospital

I have spent over 3 hours trying to contact the admissions dept by phone on 5 different numbers I have been given. The lines ring incessantly and then cut out. How is one to find out what is going on when access to speak to so one is so unavailable? The various staff I have spoken to in order to get these numbers, have been helpful but the end result is very unhelpful and frustrating. Do I need to actually visit and find the admissions office to get any response? I was told I would be listed as an urgent case but need to know how this bears out in practice with current waiting lists.

I am sorry to read that you have had problems getting in touch with a particular department. I note that your feedback is anonymous and so I am unable to investigate and respond in more detail. However, please liaise with Chris Davies, Clinical Administration Programme Director, who will be able to help you. The contact details are as follows: C.Davies10@nhs.net Thank you for taking the time to feed back your experience and please accept our apologies that they did not meet your expectations on this occasion.
