"Started on Warfarin today"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

I went to the Osborne building today, the appointment was spot on time. The nurse was clear on how to take the Warfarin, she was smiley and helpful. The downside to the visit there were mugs just left on the waiting room tables and it was far too hot in the waiting room for the amount of people in there, I left feeling light headed and sweating, it was a mild day today was it really needed to have the heating on full blast? Even the staff were fanning themselves to cool down.

Dear KarenO'R Thanks for your feedback. We're very pleased to hear that you were happy with the care you received. This has been passed on to the team you saw. We are sorry that the waiting room was uncomfortably warm. Heating throughout Leicester's Hospitals is controlled centrally, which means that staff have no control over the temperature. We have forwarded your comments on to our facilities providers, so that they can take any neccessary measures. Kind regards Communications Team Leicester's Hospitals
