Having noticed I had a number of obscure symptoms I contacted NHS direct who assessed me and put me in touch with NHS 111 who passed on my details to my out of hours GP. They called me and invited me for an appointment straight away. I was seen by the most compassionate GP and was assessed. She arranged for me to be seen in A&E the next day.
When I arrived to A&E I was greeted by the Dr, who listened to my concerns, conducted thorough assessments and did everything he could to reassure me. The consultant was kind and answered all my questions and all the nursing staff were so friendly and compassionate.
I am still awaiting more tests, but I am so moved by the care and concern of those who supported me.
