I took my friend in to A&E after being told to by 111. After collapsing onto the floor in agony in front of the triage nurse who was too busy chatting to her friend so was finally seen by a doctor and admitted after approx 5 hours. Her bed for the night was splattered with blood, she overheard every detail about every other patient, and can tell you what Chinese takeaway was ordered by the nurses on the ward for a midnight delivery where they then ignored the phones and pagers!
