We had to attend A+E due to (in hindsight) failings in the GP system. It was mid evening, mid-week, a quiet time of the day or so I thought. The waiting room was full to bursting with what I perceived minor injuries. We were assessed after approx. 1 hour, treatment / doctor in attendance took a further 2~3 hours. The doctor seemed to confirm our own diagnosis (from NHS online) immediately, something a raft of GPs couldn't do over the past 4 years. A night in Obs ward and a multitude of painkillers ended our visit. Mixed opinions - the staff seem to do as much as they can given their pitiful (to me) resources. Cant lay the blame at the hospital, its a higher level I have by beef with. A+E, Obs ward, thanks for all your concern and help. A professional service.
