"Lack of information from QMC"

I was a patient on ward C53 at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham last month. I was most impressed by the professionalism of all the staff.

However, it would be good, when discharged, if I could have had a final review of my condition before leaving the hospital, just so that I knew exactly what I was to expect. There was a hurried group consultation, but this was not with my consultant. I realise that people are not on duty all of the time, but I did notice that one patient received more follow-up details about their situation from a nurse prior to their discharge. I did not receive anything like this when I was discharged.
