"Referral visit for a diagnosis"

About: Princess of Wales Hospital

My son was referred by my doctor. On the choose and book site initially we only chose the princess of Wales because they had the earliest available appointment. However I am so glad now because from the moment we arrived we were welcomed straight away, booked in, kept informed at all times on the wait etc. There was a half an hour delay on our appointment BUT it wouldn't have mattered if it was an hour, the staff kept us informed about the approximate wait, they would come over to where we were sitting and inform us how many patients were before us. The consultant was brilliant as was his nurse. They struggled getting blood from him as he has very hard to locate veins so the nurse told us to go to the canteen as my son admitted he was hungry and thirsty and have a drink and some lunch then try again. The moment we got back the nurse noticed us and took us straight to a room and then took his bloods. I was so impressed by the care and service of this hospital and staff and would not hesitate in choosing them again. Fantastic.
