"staff are a complete joke!!!!"

About: Leicester General Hospital

From the moment we stepped on to ward 20 we were meet by to nurses who completely ignored us standing there waiting to check in then a rude receptionist with a attitude problem who had no idea who we were or what my husband was in for. when she turned to the nurses to ask if he was staying in over night the nurses replied with yes over night while looking at him and gave him a dirty look! So what the hell is there problem? as for the receptionist who told me as soon as we arrived I was not allowed to stay while my husband was going to wait up to 5 hours before his op! She was not amused when I told her that was disgusting and ridiculous she then carried on to tell me theres no visitors allowed period on either ward ans I could only see him once he was discharged who in there right mind would take there partner to hospital because of cancer then drop them off at the door and not see them until they come out why couldn't I wait with him supporting him waiting for the op, why was I not allowed to wait until my husband was out of his op so I knew he was ok but no your not allowed! Well thanks a lot to the staff as of now my husband will not have the op or investigation he needed as there attitude the filthy looks and complete disregard for me his disabled very worried wife who is kicked out like your a piece of rubbish. if it was your husband your family would you be happy to leave them and not have the right to stay and support them So thats apparently hospital policy but no visitors are allowed yet look on the general hospital web site at all the visitor info and the hospital offers support to patients and visitors! You should be ashamed of your selfs, and whats worse look at your hospital reviews about rude staff and people who have not been treated with dignity or respect or kept up to date on what the hell is going on and the complaint s go back to 2009 so clearly you do nothing or listen I can not tell you how angry I am!
