"Treatment pre/post operation"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital

I initially attended at Stepping Hill on 9th August 2013 with a problem of urine retention. This turned out to be caused by an enlarged prostrate. However, whilst being treated for this it was discovered that I had a growth on one of my kidneys. Whilst trying to treat the enlarged prostate the growth on the kidney was prioritized(it turned out to be cancerous) and this was successfully removed on the 11th October. Whilst still awaiting treatment for the prostate problem which I hope to have in the very near future, I would like to say that I have every confidence in both the surgeons and their support staff, in the Urology department and within theatre, and also the nurses who looked after me following surgery, on ward C6. A big thank you to all
