I arrived in the medical day care unit for my third (and hopefully last) lumbar puncture. From the moment I arrived on the ward the nurses were fantastic, friendly and warm making me instantly less anxious. Even when I had a few tears they were so lovely and made sure I was okay through every step of the procedure. Then today, two days after my lumbar puncture they have even called me just to check on my headaches! At the end of the day no one likes to be in hospital, but I can honestly say the staff at the medical day care made it 10 times easier. Thank you!
