"Hip Replacement"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

I had a hip operation on 31.10/2013, and I cannot thank every person enough, from the time I walked into register on the day to the time I left on the 04/11/2013. all the nurses and doctors were very professional and put you at ease all the way through the operation. After operation you go the D48 ward and these nurses are so brilliant, and nothing is to much trouble to them. They are truly angels. Negatives are little, you have to get used to the bed alarms and telephone in the corridor going off at regular basis. Food was good and I enjoyed the other patients company while there. I am on the mend now. The pain I have is from the operation and is manageable, but I can see the changes already and it will only get better.

Thank you for your comments. We will share these with all members of the ward team, who will really appreciate you having taken the time to ensure their efforts have been recognised.
