"My stay at Chalkhill"

I got admitted to Chalkhill for an eating disorder and I must say I wasn't keen to go but it was a better envioment than I had expected. I made a friend and the staff were really kind to me and they loved to have a joke or two and my primary nurse was really understanding and was really friendly. I wouldn't say they got me better becuase they had to move me to another unit after being there 13 months. The staff did there absolute best to help me, but the treatment there didn't seem to help. The staff were so nice and they should get a medal or a pay rise...

Thank you for leaving the feedback. I am glad that you had a good experience of the staff, this will be fedback to the team. Chalkhill is a General Adolescent Unit and on some occasions the young people who receive treatment here require help in a more specialist environment. I can’t promise the staff a payrise, but we will look into the medals! Nick Clark Matron Chalkhill
