"Poor care"

About: University Hospital Aintree

3 months ago i had the very unhappy task of calling the emergency services to take my husband to a&e with pains significantly bad enough to realise he was enduring kidney stones . We arrived at their A&E and was after a fashion seen by a young F2 who gave my husband the drugs needed to try and help allie viate his discomfort . After that it was all downhill the trolly had dried blood & faeces then a staff nurse taking bloods forgot to before & after the correct hand hygiene protocol then we were left for 12 hours without seeing anyone until a sr arrived whom ordered an iv to be installed at which a nurse scratching her head (literally) dropped the full bag of saline on my hubby on the left flank ( sore spot) he was moved to CDU were he was told he could leave (no urine test no scan nothing ) i asked about an xray ? They said "oh ok" which they found a 9mm uretic stone ? The mind boggles bad manners dirty hospital no wonder we get grief Aintree hospital, dirty foundational hospital clean up your act manners and empathy cost nothing
