I was a patient on ward G1 at the Royal Hallamshire hospital for the treatment of abscesses. I was pleased with how quickly I was treated, however I received no aftercare whatsoever and nobody checked me over before I went home. Also, I was not told whether my stitches would have to be removed or whether they would dissolve.
