I recently spent a couple of days as an inpatient on the medical assessment unit/ward at Leicester Royal Infirmary.

I felt there was no privacy, no dignity, and the busy staff I met were not interested in me as a person. I found the surroundings dirty, especially the toilets and bathrooms. Some noisy staff at night meant no chance to sleep.
