"appointment disappeared off system. AUDIOLOGY"

I came June for 2 appointments. One at 2.40 pm for a hearing test and this was to be followed by an appointment with a consultant at 3 pm. I did have the hearing test but I was then informed that for some reason or other there was no consultant available on that day so would I mind coming back another day. This I agreed to willingly and was taken back to the desk at the front and was given a further future appointment which I wrote in my diary. The assistant was busy and did not print off a letter for me but said she would send it through the post. Today was the day....................It appears am not down for an appointment. I am glad I have checked first as this would have been another wasted day off work. Apparently I will go back to START. Another wait.......
