I was a patient at the Queen's Medical Centre's Cardiology department for an angioplasty. The best thing about how I was treated is that I was generally shown respect.
The punctuality of the department's clinic could be improved. There was also a horrendous wait for the pharmacy to deliver my discharge medicines.
I had an almost 3-hour wait for a cardiac doctor to examine me in response to a call from general surgical consultants - this made me feel angry.
Nevertheless, thank you to Dr Alan Harcombe and the nursing staff at QMC Cardiology.
