My partner and a neighbour have had the need to visit this department in the recent weeks. The care was prompt, courteous and friendly. In the case of my partner we attended on a Sunday and although advised of a 'long wait' we were seen within 30 minutes which we thought was very good for a weekend. My partner has long term health issues and is very anxious about 'wasting' services. The two ENP that attended were very understanding and kind. Although they were unable to resolve the issue they were able to refer to MPH directly to save a wait there too. My partner is a retired nurse and I am still in the profession. We often read of the negative views of healthcare and have experienced it ourselves on one occasion. However, we can say that our experience on Sunday was yet another example of how the care provided over the last 9 years has helped my partner to be as well as possible and be able to enjoy a quality of life. As a carer this support is vital in helping me to manage his care and well being. In short,a huge Thank You for being so good.
