I am a diabetic and was admitted to the Warrington General hospital with low blood sugar. This was rectified by hospital staff in about 2 hours. At this point, I had a small ulcer underneath my left foot, which quickly developed into a diabetic foot resulting in hospitalisation for 5 weeks. Ward B18 staff were absolutely brilliant throughout my stay. The ward sister, Madeleine, and nurse Claire were fantastic.
