My GP referred me wrongly and he passed on knowingly incomplete info together woith info he had not got my consent to pass on/was totally irrelevant, so I was at a disadvantage from the start. I've got a brain injury and trying to remember and explain all my symptoms is very hard but although I think I did quite well the doctor ignored and totally disregarded the most important things I told him. I let him examine me obviously on condition he'd explain why he was doing what, what he found out and what it might mean but he did none of that. He didn't address my actual injuries and he fobbed me off with nonsense - but because of my brain injury and lack of education I didn't know. He should have referred me for tests but didn't, neither did he refer me to other appropriate specialties. He told me to tell my GP that I should be seen by another specialty and that his wasn't the right one but his could have done some investigations. So not only did he lie to me but he told me to pass on his lies to my GP. I never got a letter explaining his tests/results and no follow-up. The copies of my records I've been provided with appear to be fake/not correct, therefore I think the Trust/doctor breached the Data Protection Act, my Human Rights and the common laws of consent and confidentiality. I had to pay £10 for my copies, I was refused access to look at them on the PC system as I was promised, this is theft: I want my money back and why do they make us pay to access our data when it is our right to - even if we can't afford to pay? I do not consent to you using my data for any purpose other than that for which I am supplying it: to try to get the NHS/doctors/Dept of Health/government to stop breaching my rights including my right to know and to privacy. Please investigate and keep me updated as you should, thanks. If your terms & conditions breach my rights and the law you must change them, my ABI means it's too hard to read them, as I don't know what I must consent to in order to express my experience I cannot consent to them. I want to help the NHS abide by the rules (law) and try to help educate people so they can try to protect themselves from the NHS. The date I selected was the last time I visited the hospital.
