"Knee Arthroscopy Experience"

About: North Downs Hospital

I was referred via the NHS to a consultant for knee pain, first in respect of one knee and subsequently on the other. Thorough physical examination, X-Ray and MRI led to successful arthroscopic surgery on the two separate occasions. The welcome and subsequent visits were warm, friendly and efficient. The information given both before and following recovery from surgery was crystal clear and pre-surgery assessment was good. The attitude by all was always caring, positive and confident and with good reason as both procedures resulted in improvement, despite severe wear of the cartilage in one knee. No doubt in the future I will need to seek further repair/replacement and I would not hesitate to return to the care and expertise offered in this hospital.
