"Endoscopy staff just amazing"

I had to attend today for an endoscopy,I was dreading the procedure and what might be found. From the moment I entered the day surgery unit I was treated with such care and reassurance. I opted to have the procedure with just a throat spray not sedation, whilst it isn't pleasant it is over quickly and having 3 amazing nurses with me , talking,reassuring etc and the skill of the Consultant was over in minutes. The sense of caring but also chatting to me and making me laugh made it all so much better than being in a stuffy unfriendly environment and being able to have this done at my local hospital not Winchester or Salisbury took a lot of the stress away. All the staff their are simply first class. So friendly and kind. I was also impressed with the staff in the ultra sound dept a few weeks earlier. It is almost as if these wonderful nurses are hand picked. Long may we have this marvellous hospital in Andover. Icing on the cake is all is well, nothing seriously wrong with me.
