"Knee arthroscopy"

I had a knee arthroscopy at the Horder Centre. My knee is so much worse two months after the arthroscopy. Aftercare was appalling, the surgeon was saying I was fine when clearly my knee was getting worse. I had to see another surgeon in a different hospital who was shocked that I was discharged by my surgeon while my knee needed immediate urgent treatment. I deeply regret that I had operation at the Horder Centre.

We are very sorry to read that you were dissatisfied following your surgery in December and that you had not raised your concerns with The Horder Centre directly. We have a comprehensive complaints process for anyone who would like to raise a concern and we are sorry if this was not made accessible to you. Leaflets are available in all patient areas and waiting areas. If you would like us to investigate your concerns, please write to the Director of Clinical Services at The Horder Centre who will ensure a full investigation is made and feedback given to you. We aim to ensure all our patients have an excellent standard of service and would like the opportunity to discuss this further with you.
