"The amount of paperwork generated by this process is incredible!"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

The TRAQS caller was charming and booked me in for December. I was surprised, then, to get a call shortly afterwards from the physio unit itself inviting me in for an appointment just four days later.

Seems strange that TRAQS were not able to book this slot in themselves. The amount of paperwork generated by this process is incredible! !

Dear 'Knowledge454'

Thank you for taking the timie to share your comment.

TRAQS has been developed to ensure that patients are offered a choice of provider. Once the patient has made their choice, we offer patients the first available appointment. These appointments are given to TRAQS by the provider.

Sometimes the hospital add extra clinics or they have cancellations. These earlier appointments are then offered to patients. Unfortunately TRAQS do not have any control over this as its managed by the hospital.

Thank you again for taking the time to respond.
