About: Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

As retired paramedics and now my husband is a patient of the consultant Rheumatologist we asked to be transferred to Basingstoke from Lymington due to an excellent recommendation about the consultant and the hospital in general. We both find the hospital CLEAN, staff friendly and helpful from the minute one enters the building. As an inpatient the food was excellent the nursing staff professional and caring, the ward cleaning was kept to an excellent standard and all departments my husband visited kind and helpful. Being a patient under this consultant has improved the quality of my husbands life we are eternally thankful to the consultant and staff and also to the whole of the hospital staff for providing a excellent caring service, all hospitals should follow their example.

Basingstoke and North Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust replies: Thank you very much for the positive feedback about your recent treatment in the DTC. I'm very sorry that you had a long wait in pre-assessment which must have been very frustrating. Normally this service also runs very smoothly so I'm sorry this was not the case for you.
