"Superb surgical and nursing care"

I attended Northwick Park Hospital in December for a major maxillofacial procedure and was an in-patient for 14 days, spending one day and night in the High Dependency Unit and the rest on Gray Ward. The care throughout was superb, from the surgical team, the nurses and ancillary staff. The nursing care, first in the HDU and then on Gray Ward, was absolutely top class. The clinical care was faultless as far as I could see, cleanliness was top quality, and all the nursing staff were wonderfully caring and supportive in allaying concerns and fears, explaining what was going on and offering friendly encouragement. The doctors were friendly, informative and respectful throughout, and happy to engage in dialogue. Their professional skill is amazing.The dieticians, speech & language specialists and physios were also very good. Thank you to all at Northwick Park and to the NHS in general. Quentin
