"We're fortunate to live in Caterham"

About: Caterham Dene Hospital

Anything else?

Living in Caterham, and users of NHS services, we are very fortunate to have this excellent local hospital. Some of the services, for example minor injuries need more publicity - more people would use them, and be satisfied with NHS services. This hospital demostrates the value of local hospitals. To-day I had a chest X-ray (not a listed department).

Dear Anonymous

We are very pleased to read that you not only recognise the value of being able to access NHS services locally, but that you find these also to be 'excellent'.

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust provide a limited range of services at this particular hospital and whilst we are not responsible for minor injuries, we are responsible for providing diagnostic x-ray services.

In response to your comment concerning more publicity for local NHS services, by taking the time to post this you are helping to raise awareness for these important and valuable services. These services not only provide more convenience in terms of location for many but these also help to alleviate some of the pressure on the Accident and Emergency department at East Surrey Hospital, Redhill.

Kind regards

Maxine May
