"I am only 18 and I have lost hope in the system"

About: Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I have suffered from trichotillomania for 11 years and self harming and suicidal thoughts for 7 years. I first got referred to CAMHS 4 years ago, after I ended up in a&e after cutting myself, they assesses me and said it wasn't the right place for me and went on to refer me to connexions, which said the same thing that it was 'not the right place'.

So now, 4 years later, I find myself back at my GP after suffering panic attacks aswell as the above issues, they referred me onto 'time to talk' which, after an assessment has shoved me back to connexions even though they know how unhelpful they were previously! I'm only 18 years old and it's fair to say I have completely lost hope in this system.
