"Anna Ward Visit"

About: Samuel Johnson Community Hospital

Anything else?

I came to visit a friend on Anna Ward she was in a side ward, I asked the Nurse if it was ok for me to enter the side ward, and I was told it was ok to enter only to wash my hands before I leave. After about half hour later, by another Nurse, I was told that I should have not entered without gloves and a apron, I know this advise is for my own protection but one Nurse tells you to just wash your hands and another Nurse tell you different information. Please can they give you the right information in the first place.

We are sorry to hear that your friend was in hospital and hope that they are feeling better. We apologise for the confusion whilst visiting Anna Ward. To enable us to investigate why you were given conflicting information we would ask you to contact our Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) on telephone number 01283 593110 or email pals@burtonft.nhs.uk to provide further details.
