"This detox gave me a second chance at a brighter future"

About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / The Woodlands (inpatient unit for substance misuse)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

On behalf of the Service User

This detox gave me a second chance and a brighter future to live my life again.

The Woodlands envirement was welcoming and made me feel very safe and secure.

There lots to keep my mind occupied while detoxing which I found to help me get through to the point of my detox and to move on from discharge.

The where always with a smile and at the same time very considerate, caring and supportive which making my stay here easiar than facing it alone.

This has been a great opportunity for me to grasp with both hands when the help was there when I was ready to commit to my drug issues.

I would like to thank all the Staff at The Woodlands and especially Shaun who help me with many issues that needed taking care of so helping me to feel at peace and continue with my detox.

Many many thanks for such positive feedback. It's also good to hear that you found your time at the Woodlands to be so positive and that you now feel much more equipped to continue on your journey of recovery. I shall also pass on your comments to the staff team and Shaun in particular.

Well done and good luck!
