What I liked
I was recently referred, by my GP, to FPH for investigation of poor hearing. I had my hearing test 7 days later and was fitted with two hearing aids after a following 8 days. The two lady practioners I saw were extremely attentive and caring. They were most concerned to restore full quality of life. At all times they explained what they were doing and why and they only moved on when they were sure I understood the situation. I am delighted with my new hearing aids, they have made a real difference to me for which I am very grateful. Two weeks and a day from initial visit to my GP to having new hearing aids - outstanding!
The NHS seems to attract more than its fair share of criticism. Personally I cannot speak highly enough of the service I have received over the years and this latest experience deserves the highest congratulations. Thank you NHS and FPH in particular.
