"The speed I was attended to"

About: Warrington Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

The speed I was attended to

What could be improved

I came to the fractures clinic and couldn't walk from the car park. There were no wheel chairs available so I had to be dropped off in a yellow zone and then you get a recorded message on the tannoy saying no parking here.

What are you supposed to do?

Why isn't there a designated drop off/pick up zone outside the doors for patients who cannot walk. There should also be wheel chairs readily available.

Thanks for your comments Bob and we are glad you were seen quickly. We are currently introducing new drop off zones outside our key departments to improve the access across the site now that we have relieved some of the congestion on the campus by improving our parking. We hope that these zones will help to improve on the issue you have raised.
