Anything else?
I had a major emergency surgery for ectopic pregnancy on 15th Nov 2013. I was in hospital for 4 days and on the day of discharge I was told that I will get an appointment with a specialist in 6 weeks time. I was told that I will get a letter so no need to follow up. 6 weeks have passed and 7th week on, I did not receive any communication. When I called up anti-natal clinic, they could not find any record mentioning the need to meet a specialist. Then when I followed up after a few hours I was told that there is no appointment till 20th April. When I called up the consultant's secretary/office, they had no clue that an appointment was needed or was to set up. They said that we will send you an appointment in the next few days and if nothing comes up then call us again. Is this the kind of treatment you give to someone who has undergone three miscarriages along with a major surgery in 2 years. you have a system/process to follow and despite I having followed that, you are being very insensitive to the treatment and diagnosis I need. Are you so naive to not understand the stress, depression that I and my family are going through? Apart from the pain, tiredness I feel due to surgery, I now have to take the stress, headache and depression of not getting proper diagnosis and treatment for the problem that I have.
