My daughter was referred there from my GP with a deteriorating skin condition. As it was getting quite bad (my daughter is 5 months old) I requested she was fast tracked. We were then seen by consultant dermatologist dr Catherine Jury soon after. We were prescribed a protocol which gave her complete relief from the condition. My daughter is like a new baby, she sleeps great, is happier having her bottles, and is more engaged with her surroundings now this dreaded itch from her eczema has gone.
The nurses have also been fantastic for advice over the telephone and at her post treatment check up recently.
The only thing I was disappointed with was that at our daughters initial consultation I was angry to find out that 5 people had not appeRed for their appointments that day. Considering there is a 10 week waiting time for kids to see a consultant I find this very frustrating. Of course this is probably out with the NHS control.... But let the hospital know and someone else can have that appointment ..... Easy? !
