"Poor treatment and care"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

Anything else?

Although some of the nurses were brilliant, the care recieved by my partner overall was terrible. Sometimes waiting hours for painkillers and antisickness she needed, and very rude at times. The doctors are useless, sometimes not even reading notes before recommending a treatment or diagnosis (recommending things they had already tried). My partner has been in and out of Lincoln Hospital since the start of October; over a month spent there in total. Could not find out what was causing her to be so poorly. She was passed around different wards and doctors, mainly Urology and Gastro. Took me requesting a transfer and me complaining to finally get something done. However, since being diagnosed and discharged she is still suffering from unbearable pain and sickness. We will not be going back to Lincoln Hospital as we have no faith what-so-ever in it. The doctors were in no rush at all to find out what the problem was and we still don't know.

Hi

We are disappointed to hear of your experience which does not describe a standard of care we would expect our staff to provide. It does seem from your comments you still have concerns about your partner's health and we would very much like the opportunity to discuss this with you further. If you would like to take up this offer please contact our PALS team at Lincoln County Hospital by email PALS@ulh.nhs.uk or telephone direct 01577 707071.
