The last thing you want to do is moan unnecessarily was when people are looking after you. I found every member of staff very nice when they were actually dealing with you but getting their attention was difficult. Buzzers and alarms went unanswered for up to 15-20 minutes each time, you were not told what was happening and questions were answered in a non specific way, almost fobbed off to keep you quiet. People turned up unexpected to carryout a procedure that you didn't know where going to happen! Generally I felt like I was a burden and I couldn't wait to leave. Sad really because I support the NHS and generally feel that nurses to a good job, but on this occasion I was not impressed. Short staff or lack of interest?
