"I was admitted to ward 27 with ..."

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was admitted to ward 27 with SAA and i hadnt really a clue what was goin on as the whole treatment i was going to go throught was very confusing. While i was there, the staff were extremely caring and understanding! Being 16 i was the youngest on the ward at the time, when i was upset, the nurses got me throught it. When i was in pain, the nurses and doctors both checked on me regulary to see how i was and if i needed less or more relief from pain. My bay and the room was cleaned everyday with a weekly 'deep=clean'. I was very impressed. All of the staff/cleaners i thought were amazing. Thanks.

What could be improved

The only tihings it think that could be improved is for other wards to take ward 27 as an excellent example from being a high-quality ward. Speaking to many patients who were on ward 27, they all said that other wards weren't as clean, friendly or caring as this ward and i believe them from my experiences to.
