"Disgusting service keep patients in pain waiting..."

About: Seacroft Hospital

Anything else?

Waited last year for 5 months to see a specialist at the Pain Clinic Unit at Seacroft. My GP and NHS booking service had sent me a letter detailing exactly when my appointment was and time, I even called twice before the day of the appointment. When I arrived I was told they had non of my records and that it was typical nhs incompetent booking service that had messed up my appointment! This is after I rung Seacroft Hospital spoke to a reception staff and she told me I was on for the appointment. The nurse actually told me that she didn't know why they had sent me to the pain management as they probably wouldn't be able to help me with my pain problems in the first place, this is after waiting for 5 months!! I suffer from sever chronic pain disorder and have to wait now until February 2014 to go to this hospital! Disgusting service
