Anything else?
My first dermatology consult appointment was very encouraging - I was able to get an appointment within 2&half weeks of referral, saw the senior consultant who was extremely nice, was helped by nursing staff (I was on crutches) and was taken round to see it I would tolerate the confines of the PUVA cubicle. I was asked what my outcomes would be and involved in decision making - everyone I encountered was very nice. My only criticism is how far I then had to walk to the Pharmacy, and the fact there are no seats along the corridors (not even the occasional bench seat). Like many general hospitals, Bedford has grown to a sprawling mass and little consideration seems to be given in most hospitals to the fact that most of its customers are infirm or ill and may find walking difficult, yet long walks along hospital corridors are the norm.
"Very impressed"
