My mother was in Colteshall Ward at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, in recent weeks. She had double pneumonia which required constant oxygen for about two weeks as well as an intensive regime of antibiotics and other drugs. Being 92, I was deeply concerned that this would all be too much for her.
The care throughout her stay was nothing less than exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble in what is a large and busy ward.
I want to thank all those involved. Mum is now at home. She still has a long way to go for full recovery, but the care and attention she received in Colteshall ward is why she is where she is today.
Much appreciation.
