"Nurses were really polite, kind ..."

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Nurses were really polite, kind and friendly, the hospital is generally very clean.

Doctors were approachable and the pharmacist was great could give me so much info on my medications when he was coming to the ward.

I find really encouraging that the students’ nurses were so brilliant they really took care of me..this makes us all hope in a better future for the NHS.

What could be improved

•Hospital needs more staff I have seen nurses really overworked and in my 4 weeks stay there were numerous days were there were just 2 nurses for 4 bays!!

•Didn’t like the way student nurses were treated by the nurses and doctors and most of the times they were over worked/over used or better say they were working more then the nurses!!

•Doctors should learn how to wash their hand or use that gel as none of them ever did it before touching me and they should learn more about privacy as telling me about their findings behind the curtains and so loud made me feel really uncomfortable and they need to learn how to keep updated their patients as most of us often felt forgotten as no one was telling us anything (nor to the nurses)

•Better and healthier food choice.
