The appointment was for my daughter. She is dyslexic and uses coloured lenses to read.
We went to the opticians for a prescription, they referred to GP to request colorimetry clinic for a new colour to be selected. GP referred to hospital, appointment was arranged for Shrewsbury orthoptic department.
When we arrived for our appointment we were told we'd been booked in to the wrong clinic and no the colorimentry clinic and would have to wait for a new appointment. New appointment is not until late February!
It's now going to take at least 7 months for my daughter to get the colour on her lenses, each day the colour she is using works less well, by this time she'll be struggling to read!
